Thursday evening, Střecha Radost rooftop bar, Žižkov. A view over the whole city, a drink in hand, and around you, people who spend their working lives figuring out how to make customer experience better. That was the scene at the first edition of CX in the Clouds, an event Insightsofa hosted for the Czech CX community.
Networking without an agenda
No presentations, no set programme, no business cards stuffed into pockets just so people could say they’d “networked”. The goal was simple: bring together people from the CX world, big companies and small teams alike, and let them just talk.
And that’s exactly what happened. People with different experience and different backgrounds, but the same appetite for talking about how to do customer experience better, gathered in one place and stayed long after what you’d call the “official end”.
Why this format
CX still doesn’t get the space it deserves in the Czech market, and honestly, that’s a shame. Customer experience deserves more respect, and more places where it can be discussed seriously. There’s no shortage of meetings, but there are very few places to exchange a few words with someone, without pressure and without it turning straight into a sales pitch. CX in the Clouds was created to fill exactly that gap, as a companion event to CX Brunch, this time in an evening, more relaxed format.
Střecha Radost in Žižkov felt like a natural choice. The space and the view were perfect for this kind of gathering. But the main thing was the people, not the venue. Thanks again to everyone who came and got involved, we really appreciate it.
What’s next
This was only the first edition, and we see it as a foundation to build on. We want to make the next event even better. If you like this format and want to be part of it, follow Insightsofa or X Pulse so you don’t miss the next one.
